Mrs. Margaret E. Babl, age 62, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 26, 1947 to Joseph and Katherine (Novenski) Mullin in Des Moines, IA.

Margaret was a very active member of St. Marks Catholic Church for many years. She enjoyed cooking, and gardening as well as of her pets! But most of all she was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend.

Margaret was preceded in death by her brother John Mullin. She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Bill Babl; her children, Michael and Emily Babl; seven siblings, Mary Mullin of Sioux City, IA, Katherine Mullin of Georgetown, TX, Therese Brittain of Winterset, IA, Helen Mullin of Yutan, NE, Joseph Mullin and wife Rosemary, of Des Moines, IA, William Mullin and wife Pat of Arnolds Park, IA, Tom Mullin and wife Janet of Minneapolis, MN; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 29th, 2010 at St. Marks Catholic Church, 1201 Alma Dr., Plano, TX. Visitation will be held Thursday night from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary service beginning at 8:00. Burial will be in Iowa at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to John Paul II High School, 900 Coit Rd, Plano, TX 75252 in her memory.
